Douglas has spent his entire technical career working with tech teams, data, and databases. He is the COO of Fortified Insight, was the GM of SolarWinds’ Database software business, and prior to that was the Chief Strategy Officer at SentryOne.
He’s also an 11-time recipient of the Microsoft® Data Platform MVP award and served for 16 years on the Microsoft Azure and Data Platform Partner Advisory Councils.

Scott is a Solutions Engineer at Fortified with over a decade of experience in driving database performance, scalability, and reliability. He has a strong track record of building and mentoring teams, leading successful Proof of Concept efforts for large enterprises, and serving as a trusted advisor at both in-person and virtual industry events. Passionate about helping organizations optimize their data environments, Scott thrives on solving complex technical challenges and improving the quality of life for the teams he supports.
